Luxurious Mission-Style Mansion

About the Project

The ESI Team is currently building one of the largest homes ever constructed in Folsom, California — a magnificent 10,341 square foot luxurious mission-style custom home located in the American River Canyon housing development. Having worked with the clients on an initial smaller design of around 5,000 square feet, the family realized an even larger vision by purchasing an adjacent lot and expanding the scope to include everything a family might want or need in a new home.

Under construction throughout 2019 and scheduled to finish in early 2020, the well-appointed home includes: six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and four half-baths, two large garages, a great room with vaulted ceilings, wide inviting hallways, and a top of the line gourmet kitchen.

Some of the unique amenities selected for the home include:

  • expansive outdoor patios and covered porches
  • an indoor water feature
  • a circular stairwell off the entryway
  • spacious guest quarters
  • a kids play/entertainment room
  • a separate loggia and outdoor entertainment area
  • a swimming pool

….and much more.

In addition to building a high-quality, superbly constructed home that withstands the test of time, ESI minimizes long-term utility expense by employing building codes and state of the art technologies which exceed energy efficiency standards. For example, closed cell expanding foam insulation will seal and insulate the walls and ceilings, high efficiency heating and cooling units will be installed in several separately controlled zones, low flow plumbing fixtures are specified, and electronic control systems will be deployed to maximize the lighting and other electronic control and efficiency.

We’re excited to create such an incredible home, and are proud to share our work here with you!
