ESI understands how to achieve the luxury, quality, and comforts our clients look for in a remodeling project and updates to their home. From scoping to final clean-up and demobilization – our attention to detail and focus on perfection remains steady. Through years of experience in home building and custom remodels, the client partnership success relies on our proven process:
Step 1 – Scoping & Designs
Clear and effective communication is critical to develop and document an understanding of the scope, styles, finishes and budget to make every remodel project a success. Our process to define and clarify your needs is thorough – including customized questionnaires, scoping and design review meetings, multiple designs and iterations with our architects and design partners, and final project scoping. Hand in hand with you, ESI helps make your vision of perfection a reality on paper and in your mind’s eye.
Step 2 – Cost Estimates, Schedule & Contracting
Once you are comfortable with the project design, we reach out to proven subcontractor tradesmen to finalize the project costs and set a workable schedule. After more than 20 years working with key partners in Northern California, we have a number of outstanding craftsmen and subcontractors that work as an extension of our team. As such, their interest is the same as ours – your satisfaction. Based on final costs – we’ll work through a simple yet protective contracting process for the remodel project and get moving!
Step 3 – Permitting, Demolition & Construction
After completing all the permitting requirements, ESI will proceed quickly with demolition and removal of existing home elements (walls, old cabinets, appliances, etc.) and will prepare the home for new construction. We are adamant about minimizing dust and avoidable annoyances to home occupants, so count on ESI to place and maintain temporary walls, protective floor coverings, and other measures. Construction will proceed according to our detailed schedule with subcontractors and craftsman working together and in close sequence to minimize the amount of time needed to complete the quality project. Every day our ESI Project Foreman will be onsite working and overseeing your project and communicating with you – all to ensure the project meets or exceeds the plans and quality expectations.
Step 4 – Remodel Completion & Ongoing Support
For ESI, completion of your remodeling project is more than just clean-up and walking out. Once all the remaining punch list items are addressed, we will provide you with a final project binder and package including as-built drawings, agency permits, material specifications, manufacturer/supplier cut sheets, in-progress photos, and other valuable project information. ESI is still not done – we stand by our work and for the next 10 years, responding to any questions, concerns, or warranty items you have.
We admit it – ESI’s remodeling approach may not be the least expensive nor fastest available to you. However, your satisfaction and the inherent value you and your home will achieve makes us the most logical choice. Let’s be partners for your remodeling project.
